  There is literally nothing good about this product

  The conversion it did was terrible, but even worse was the software/downloader also installed MALWARE (bikiniland) and shovelware (round world) without my consent.

  AVG says it contains MalSign.Generic.8BF. "Trojan horse Generic is a malicious application that allows hackers to remotely access you computer system letting them modify files, steal personal information and install more unwanted software. These kinds of threats, called Trojan horse, must be sent to you by someone or carried by another program."

  Summary

  I won't install it because of the AVG warning.

  It is free, but I gave up trying to install it after it kept adding junk SW.

  Cons

  Loads garbage. Had to antivirus scan my system after stopping installation. It found 2 adware files and uninstalled them.

  Bundled with lots of malware/spyware

  Summary

  During the install you have to decline about half a dozen bundled malware/spyware add-ons. Read each step carefully. If you decline all the malware then the resulting install is virus-free. The software works great. It converted a large multi-page PDF into a workbook of worksheets. The formatting wasn't perfect in a couple spots, but it was easy to fix manually iin Excel. I found another free piece of software called RDBMerge which I used to merge all the worksheets into one.
