version 2007 was deliberately stripped of a number of features by microsoft, like auto filtering data. perhaps to pursued people into buying the full version of the program.
subsequently, if people want to view data that is publicly provided by the government for free, it is pointless to use a free viewer that will not sort or filter the multitude of records the government provides us for free.
as such, if you still have version 2003 or can obtain it, get it !
microsoft screwed up many things for most of its 2007 branded products by excluding many features that were provided in their 2003 branded products - perhaps due to poor leadership. subsequently, some of the features are now re-introduced in the 2010 products.
Completely changes search settings, even when the boxes are unchecked in advanced settings. Its a pain to find all the hidden settings installed by the program. Also installs programs to desktop, again after the boxes are unchecked at install options.
