I like this thing a lot. I like to use it for proof reading. Whatever I write it will read it back actually the way I wrote it. This is an excellent way to proof read if you ask me. I don't have many complaints. Works well.
Cons
I wish it was more affordable. Like $25.00 maybe.
Summary
It works well when you figure it out. The way I used it is I highlight what I wanna read then paste is on a clear sheet in the reader. She reads back to me word for word perfectly. I don't like to read & this is the perfect thing to solve that problem. Mostly I use it to proof read what I wrote, too. I just wish it was a bit cheaper. THX.
so so not that well but not that bad

Pros
1. Simply replace the Screen Introductory Test with your text-to-voice selection; click the forward button, &c.
Cons
1. Unlike NaturalReader Free, you have to put the letter in quotation, e.g. for A write 'A' -- that's all, because otherwise you get Aye or Ahh ...
2. Like NaturalReader Free, only Microsoft Anna is available -- but NaturalReader upgrades fully.
Summary
Reads out text in Microsoft Anna's American English voice -- but haven't compared the other features with NaturalReader, which seems to have more potential to upgrade. Either of these read my telephone voice message text nicely -- try them both. NaturalReader's controls are not so well-designed, perhaps, as FlameReader's, but NaturalReader's MS Anna voice is a tad crisper and so gets the edge -- and my choice for what I'd pay for in the upgrade version; but keep an eye out for NaturalReader's subsequent revisions, as of November '08.

Pros
I'm relatively new. This is the only TTS program I used. I found it is downloaded smoothly, set out well, and very easy to navigate. I especially like the transparent window that displays very well, and the clear sound.
Cons
I'll write more after I compare it with others later.
Summary
Worth to try. Love it!
Simplely the best!

Pros
Everyone in my classroom likes this program. Some of them did try others before. It appears the Flamereader is easy to install and very user friendly.
