Create, integrate, and utilize software tools in a plug-in based framework.
Eclipse Classic (32 bit) includes tools made to give developers the freedom of choice in a multi-language, multi-platform, and multi-vendor environment. Eclipse provides a plug-in based framework that makes it easier to create, integrate, and utilize software tools, saving time and money. By collaborating and exploiting core integration technology, tool producers can leverage platform reuse and concentrate on core competencies to create new development technology. The Eclipse Platform is written in the Java language and comes with extensive plug-in construction toolkits and examples.

Brings new definition to slothful application development

Pros
Nice fonts and colors.
Cons
You'll step back in time 10 years... if you enjoy that kind of thing.
<p>
<p>Plugins... lovely... Takes so many hours and so much cobbling together to get anything resembling productivity that it simply isn't worth it.
<p>
<p>Each individual project is so very over engineered, thus applications developed on them are over engineered. Complexity introduced for the sake of complexity is not really the most sought after attribute of a development environment or application framework. So much work to get so little done...
