DigiCal+ Calendar & Widgets is one of the best calendar apps for Android we've tried. DigiCal+ has all of the free DigiCal features plus many extras, including attractive lock screen widgets, additional themes and presets, and custom fonts, colors, and transparency.
Pros
6x6: DigiCal+ has six customizable calendar views and six equally customizable lock screen widgets in various sizes. Calendars and widgets all boast integrated weather forecasting.
Calendar sync: DigiCal+ syncs with all Android calendars, including Google, Exchange, and Outlook.com.
Smart Action Bar: Calendars are topped by a versatile toolbar that let us cut, copy, edit, and delete entries with a few taps.
Improved notifications: New shortcuts for snooze, map, and navigation, plus Google Now travel support in Android 4.1 and above.
Cons
Costs money: While the similar DigiCal is free, DigiCal+ will set you back $4.95.
Awkward upgrade: There's a confusing option to hide the DigiCal+ Key icon, which unlocks premium features. The documentation claims an improved explanation of the DigiCal+ Key upgrade, but it's still the weak point in the app.
Bottom Line
Despite our minor gripe about the DigiCal+ Key, we still think DigiCal+ is a top choice for an Android calendar app. While it's not free, it's far from expensive as software goes. Considering how often you need your calendar during the day, DigiCal+ Calendar & Widgets isn't just affordable but also a bargain.
