• Most powerful DVD ReAuthoring tool around.

  Pros

  There are many but MANY prgs that allow you to remove some parts of a DVD, but this one I bought because it gives you Fine-Tuning control. CloneDVD2 (as of this writing) is cool as well but lacks what DVDReMake Pro offers! Don't be fooled as this is NOT a Transcoder nor Rerendering software. It's meant as a Pre-Processor. [1) Rip, 2) Edit with this Software, 3) use DVD ReBuilder to re-encode or Transcode.] Remove anything you don't like from Cells, Language Subtitles/Audio tracks or disable. The Pro version also allows you to change the "DVD Language" to any way you like. You can also strip out Angles. I *Absalutely Love* this software! There is a FREE bit of Software called PgcEdit that does a lot of the same stuff but I've found it to be a lot more complicated. DVDReMake Pro also has an EASY mode for those whom don't care to get "deep" into DVDs. If you have an adventuous side then the Pro part is WORTH it! If you prefer Simple, but want to just remove Angles, & simple stuff then you'll soon be at home. Only for the deeper side is there a learning curve; otherwise...EAST as hell! :) It supports DVD5 & DVD9. You can also Split DVDs in 1/2. Trust me when I tell it's worth the money!! One more thing...Customer Service ROCKS!!!! DimadSoft thanks a LOT for this software!

  Cons

  Only ONE... It's a little slow for Windows boxes. However I'll pass some hints your way. 1) DVDs are usually pretty large. Even Single Layer (DV5, 4.7MB) so Exporting can take time because of the amount of Data you're moving. So invest in a 2nd hard drive. Moving files between 2 physical hard drives makes a big difference. Remember, Windows unlike any other OS reqires LOTS of SPACE & multiple hard drives to work well. (Thanks, Billy!) 3) Have Patience! It's an Editor, & when you learn how to use it correctly, you'll see that DimadSoft has given us a lot of power! :)

  Pros

  Very easy to use, you can edit your dvd the way YOU want it to be. <p>Delete or change buttons in menus, cut scenes out of your movie, cut the begin or end-credits to decrease size, remove any audio or sub track... I could keep going for a while like this. <p>1 word: GREAT!!

  Cons

  runs a bit slow on older pc's but speed improvemts are on their way.
