  The product is very good, well designed and easy to use BUT with no real honest support.

  I bought a Lifetime Warranty when I purchased on 9/8/2010 for $99.99 US and paid extra for a Disc of the software. Last week my software stopped working after receiving three 'reminders' to download the latest version. I didn't comply, my software ver. was sufficient for what I do. I went to use it and it stopped working, I ran my antivirus program and it removed what I would call Malware. The fault was it wouldn't burn. I contacted DVD neXt Tech support after removing the software and tried to reinstall it and I couldn't! I e-mailled support & told me "I see your subscription has expired and needs to be renewed. We have setup a special renewal coupon called 'Renewal'. This coupon will allow you to renew your 1 year subscription for the annual subscription price of $19.95 US. The new owners are Xilsoft. How can they cancel my contract and then cancel my service and then ask me to pay them $19.95 US dollars. This is wrong.

  I told them to shove their software on principle even though I have the Box it came with DVD neXt Tech & the ver. 265100-066175-947435 Disc purchased on 9/8/2010. Now I'm looking for an honest God fearing dealer who will honour my next lifetime warranty contract.

• BEWARE - I got scammed. Total scammers!

  Pros

  They used to be a solid company but something has changed in 2014. Possibly the takeover from Xilsoft? Not sure. I've used there DVD neXt Copy next tech and prior versions for years and they always had great support. It was solid software. However things have changed drastically.

  Cons

  I purchased the Blu-ray converting software and was not able to get it installed on my Windows 8.1 PC. The installation crashed just after the activation step. I naturally submitted a support ticket thinking they would respond promptly like that have in the past for years, but this time was 180 degrees different. I never got a response. I kept adding messages to the thread asking where is the help? Whoever was on the other end would simply delete my message from the support thread and mark the status of the thread as "responded" when there was no response. This happened at least 6 times. When i finally got fed up 5 days later, I wrote in the same support thread that I wanted a full refund and wanted them to honor their 30 day money back guarantee. Guess what happened next. The person on the other end deleted my entire support thread so I could no longer login into the thread at all. It was gone. poof. Now I'm stuck having to go through Visa to try to dispute the charges.

  stay away from this dishonest company. they took my money and left me totally unsupported without a working installation of the software and deleted my entire support thread. I have the emails to prove it because each addition to the thread is sent to email. I was totally scammed. Avoid them like the plague.

  Program operates as promised.

  After the failure of a disk drive I tried to re-install only to get an automated message that I was denied a re-install due to the number of installations. I am now left without being able to use the product on one of my computers. I have messaged them twice with no response at all, and a third party site they use for activation that now says my serial number is invalid. This is the worst software support I have ever seen.

  Summary

  I'm hoping that someone in this company is monitoring opinions of their product and support and finally contacts me and resolves this issue that renders the software useless.

  None I cant find anything positive on this software

  No-Tech support -Long waits on emails from China on Support Tickets all based in China, My past experience , I made more dead DVD's than good ones often pix- elated FF and RR never worked right Screen freezes , Updates to keep up with current DVD standards almost none- Registration key deactivate with install of new updates when they come, I have reversed tested this software on 6 laptops and 9 Pc's and same results replicate itself, Maybe 2 out of 10 might work but do not count on it

  Summary

  Since the Support of Pixbyte was discontinued Updates are long and few the new company who services the software yest DVDNextcopy does not build there own code, now done ny Xillisoft owned by ImToo Corp in China , I am sorry any company that makes you pay for a lot of extras that should come with the program , not worth Developers who originally built DVDnextcopy
