The versatile Crystal Button tricks out your Web site buttons in a snap, and misses perfection by just one feature. The enormous number of sample buttons runs the gamut from traditional to surreal, and it's easy to use them as a foundation for your own designs. It's a pity the program doesn't make it easy to proportionally resize images; you must eyeball the results to avoid distortion. That's a minor quibble, however, considering all you can do with Crystal Button. You can see the results in action at the developer's Web site. Site builders with their priorities focused elsewhere will find Crystal Button a valuable shortcut to knocking out navigation quickly and easily.

What’s new in version 3.20

Version 3.2 is able to create interactive flash navigation systems (flash buttons) as well as classic style GIF/PNG 3D Web buttons, headers, and other Web site graphic elements.

I had a hard drive crash - 3/20/2007 - asked for the Key to use the software I paid in full for. ALL my E-mails were Ignored. Ignored by Tech Support. My phone records show that I called them - Element 5 - Digital River -Share it - and on and on/w the last call today. I have a pile of "we will investigate" "canned Generic e-mails" and "we will refund promises". Today on hold for a <p>long, long time again! All calls are long distance. SO, FROM the following month of: Mar-Apr-May-June-July-Aug-Sep-Oct-Nov-TILL-Dec I could not use the software I paid in full for. They had no intention of sending the UNLOCK CODES!

What they did sent in March was a 100 Plus alpha-numeric-caps-small letter, width of your fingernail, un-readable and un-scanable and non-functionable, doesn't open the CRYSTALBUTTON. This is what may happen to you If you send these people any money. Kiss you $29.95 good by...You were warned.<p>PS: They told me to purchase the new edition for another $29.95 credit card payment. These people should be investigated by the Attorney General Office.<p>No Stars for them!

Emm.., it is almost FREEWARE.. You can click ALT-PrintScreen and get any button you created for free. It is also the best button maker among all of the button tools I've tried (and I've tested a lot of them). It is easy to use and makes really professional-class button images for Web. Also if you decide to buy it - the price is only $30 and it worth it. The best tool in this class of programs. Really recommend to anybody - from novice to pro-Web designers. (saves a lot of time)

Interface feels way over complicated for what you would presume is quite a simple task. Specifically, there are way too many tabs (like about 40).

I have only just stated doing this kind of thing - buttons, layouts etc and I found the pro to be CRAP! I wouldnt pay for the full copy of it...if you just want to mess about then download it, if you really want to make buttons etc then dont waste your time on it.
