* Very light, doesn't consume much ram or cpu. * Can sniff dialup (ras) connections. Many competitors can't. * You can apply many filters. * Can decode many formats.

Pros
I love this program because it has an easy to use interface, it doesn't use much CPU or Memory, and you can add an alias to IP Addresses you want to remember. This makes it simple to block unwanted connections to your computer.

Packet Sniffers are not only the domain of 'hackers.' In fact mostly all tools have a legit function which are then used by malicious 'hackers' and hackers that are learning. Wanna watch the traffic coming to and fro to your computer? Try this - although there are tools like the 'Ethereal' open source program which are free and very good, but why not try one of the best free for 30 days, then goback to open source. There are some very good tools around but I like this one because it groups similar things together which makes it easier to spot things of interest.
