Subject: [#NDN-105625]: choicemail d/n work
--------------------
we clearly display that ChoiceMail works only with POP3 mail. Even with Exchange as long as it serves mail as POP3 mail.
There is also a free 30 day trial under downloads that basically lets you try the software for 30 days, free of charge and determine if it works for you. Because of this - we do not offer refunds - just like a store would not accept opened CDs.

Pros
ChoiceMail, once installed, is a remarkable program. It gives the user full control over mail even from several email addresses, sending multilingual verification mails to unknown senders It allows blocking single senders or entire domain.
Cons
Installation is difficult and often far from being automatic, but the technical service is remarkably friendly and efficient. As a matter of fact I had to let them take control of my PC to guide me through installation.
Summary
The flexibility and array of options this program gives, makes it, once functioning, one of the best anti-spam on the market. I can only recommend it. But at the beginning it will require a feedback from the user to learn what he considers as spam or not.
Pros
I can't install it.
Cons
It will not run on my system
Summary
I am running an earlier version of Choice Mail on my old XP machine and after a short period of adjustment, mostly on my side I really liked the program. When I purchased my new computer. I took the gamble with Vista Premium. One of the first downloads I made was Choice Mail, only to find that it would not run on my OS. Cmon DigiPortal make it work and I will buy it.
Pros
Stops spam. Offers the opportunity to review emails from unknown senders to whitelist them.
Cons
Have had complaints from one or two people about having to register as a safe sender.
Pros
The product was very easy to install and configure with my outlook account. The product works with my contact list to let only the emails I want in. I also love how it works in the background so I don't have to worry about the spam :D:D
Pros
I have tried two times to get this to connect and cannot using my basic pop and smtp settings. It just don't work. They have nothing to help you do this. But the test page says it is a good pop and smtp. go figure you will waste you time here.

This program is lame I was going to upgrade to the buy version but it don't work with incredimail
Cons
Could not get it to work. I guess Incredimail is not one of those programs it works with.
Pros
Does what they claim
Cons
every now and then there is a error and the program re-installs from a base level and you loose everything you have blocked and you start over PS When upgrading, support is absolutly crap and takes days for resolution without any phone support or real help - your on your own with this bad boy..... freeware is fine, DO NOT BUY THE UPGRADE and get ripped....
Peace out.
Pros
Free version worked as promised with no problems.
Cons
I just upgraded to the PAID version. I am running Vista. Choice Mail PAID version is slow and sluggish at best. I have discovered that after having issues with the software that Tech Support is next to impossible to reach. I have requested Tech Support via email and via their web site. No response. It would appear that I am now stuck with a $30.00 piece of slow, sluggish software that has no support from the company that sells it. My advice: stick to the free version.
