This simple application helps to determine your body mass index (BMI) and basal metabolic rate, but offers no other features.

BMI Calculator sports a sleek, functional interface that supports both imperial and metric units of measurement. Determine your BMI instantly by inputting your weight and height. The program then classifies your weight status as underweight, normal, overweight, or obese. It also gives additional comments about your weight status. Furthermore, you can determine your basal metabolic rate (BMR)--the minimum daily level of calories need to support your body at rest--by inputting your age, weight, height, gender, and lifestyle type.

During testing, the program instantly calculated our BMI and daily calorie requirements once we entered the required information. BMI Calculator is easy enough for PC users of all levels to use, and it's offered at no charge.
