  :- you need to adjust your computer settings so it will work on a computer with more than 4GB of RAM (if you have more it will throw up an error saying you need more even if you have more. this is because the software is old and from days when 4GB [or less] was the norm). More info on this here: http://animatordv.com/download_free.php :- Will only work with video devices (so webcam type footage for eg, won't work).

  Summary

  There are fair few decent stop motion animation software programs about that are free than means this one- especially as it is no longer supported and only can work with video devices- makes it a little redundant. Best to use something like monkeyjam or stopmojo.

  Virus Doesn't even open Fake program

  Summary

  On the dev website, it tells you to ignore the fact that it is detected as a virus. Software won't even open due to ram, so you never even know if it's a real program. Seems like the whole reason for this exe is to infect your PC.

  I couldn't get this to run as it claimed that I didn't have enough RAM, despite having 8gb RAM and no other programs (except a couple low use background activities). No use!

  Great if you have a 32gb of RAM going spare.

  I was expecting to be able to create animation from artwork that i've drawn. This wants to film using a camera, and then... create a movie? I'm not really sure, but if i'm filming with a camera, why would i need to make it into a movie... isn't it already?

  I'm sure it's great software for what it does, just not what i needed.

  I think the win32 virus is a thing that tells the creator about your uses of the software in case u havent read the description of the virus when avg detect it.
