Used Absolute Pitch for Windows?
Editors’ Review
This program helps you hone the art of perfect musical pitch, but in our opinion, the trial version is overly restrictive. The interface couldn't be described as beautiful, but it is nice the actual piano keyboard is large and prominent.
To get you started, Absolute Pitch will play a melody and will flash the name of the target note each time it occurs. When you're ready to test, the app will play you another melody, and you'll need to strike the target note each time you hear it. When you miss one, the test strangely stops and won't resume until you hit the Start button, which seems like a momentum killer. Absolute Pitch has some nice customization options, such as 127 MIDI-based sounds, a slider for tweaking the speed of the melody, and the ability to include different octaves.
The biggest problem here is that the trial version only lets you work with middle C, which may not give some users enough to decide if the app is worth buying. Still, anyone who strives for perfect pitch might at least have a look at this one.
