85HStretto for Android

85HStretto is an Android application designed for musicians and lyricists, enabling users to jot down lyrics while embedding rhythmic timing cues. The app allows for the attachment of quarter and eighth note markers directly to text, which helps maintain the intended cadence. With its minimalist interface, 85HStretto facilitates quick idea capture, making it particularly useful during songwriting sessions. The focus on a streamlined design allows for a distraction-free environment where users can concentrate on their creative process.

Unlike traditional notation software, 85HStretto prioritizes text-based input over staff notation, making it a unique tool for capturing lyrical timing. Users can mark rhythm directly as they type, which streamlines the workflow for drafting lyrics and melodic phrases. The application is lightweight, requiring only about 11–13 MB of storage, and is compatible with both Android phones and tablets. However, it has been removed from the Play Store, which may affect accessibility for new users.
