  Mr. Kon said the ebook is set of tricks. Exactly opposite - certification book is set of tricks which will you train like monkey to do Circus exercises and make people to applaud and give sugar to you ... You never will study REAL WORLD Java with certification book, just pay money for certificate and face a lot of problems when you will start your real work :-( Certification is your first baby steps - to make you understand difference between new() and String :-) and this ebook (500 tips) will study you to run. The TIPS from daily hard Java live saved me hundreds hours of searching on the web!!! Higly recommend the ebook as a guy who worked last almost 6 years with REAL Java projects, not certification exams :-) Lars, real world Java developer

  If your want to learn, just get a book for Java Certification; you'll get a lot more out of it, and get a deeper understanding of java rather than a few tricks. But if you want to boost your confidence before the interview, try this thing.

• I got already one free update to this ebook!

  I bought this book a few months ago and today I got additional "+100 Java Tips" update to this ebook. So now I have 600 Tips! Author promised to send more updates - up to 1000 Tips for free. Really good deal! I paid for 500 but already got 600 Tips and waiting for the next update (comes in January - February). What was suprising is that "+100 Java Tips" quite big - more than 100 pages. Compare to 500 tips - 387 pages! I am wondering how many will be when I will have all of them... :-) Must I buy more inks for my printer? :-)

  Good morgon! Even with my quite small knowledge of english (I am 'swiss' made) I hasd possibility to understand how good is this book.   I bought the book. Read it. I like Java. The book is excellent. I think that it is not "A total waste of bandwidth". It is great resource for those who wants to be a "profi" in Java. But certainly not for lazy person. While the book will not give you the exact code of program that you supposed to write now, it helps you to become an erudite. An ERUDITE which can resolve all problems! From my women's point of view I see that author spent a lot of days to make this book really great resource! Thanks, John! P.S. From my experince - most cruel critics come from those people who do nothing in their's life and just complain about everything instead of trying to do something :-( Sash
