Though it offers a fairly accurate simulation of billiards, 3D Pool Pro takes some getting used to. The game's 3D graphics definitely have improved from earlier versions, and the sound effects are realistic enough. The game provides a good simulation of billiard-ball physics. Playing with your mouse is not very intuitive, so you may want to take the time to learn how to shoot with the keyboard. You can either choose to play single matches against the computer, or you can enter into 8-ball or 9-ball career modes. The program offers an in-depth tutorial, and the control menu can be accessed at any point during the game. We appreciate the features that let us play in a variety of window modes and select from a number of camera views and speeds. 3D Pool Pro makes a decent pick for billiards fans.

Difficult to get the cue to where you want it. Hard to back out or go to new game. What's all the garbage arount the balls? Could not figure out how to play with just one person. Difficult to use the overview in order to line up the shot. Would not reccommend. How do I make sure that I wont be charged after the free period?? Obviously, I am not to checked out on these procedures.
