Although the title "3D Dancing Christmas Elf" sounds festive, psychedelia lies ahead. The installation takes no more than a second, and the screensaver panel opens automatically. An elf dances on a swirling rainbow backdrop while mid-tempo Christmas songs play. Various holiday items swoop around. The elf moves like a marionette, only with less facial expression. Also, he always dances in the same way and to the same tempo, even when the music speeds up or slows down. Some home users might find that 3D Dancing Christmas Elf raises their holiday spirits, though, or at least amuses them.
