This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.<br />When launching 0.8.5 for the first time, it will politely tell you it wants to make a copy of your saves and will locate the copies to a new location. Okay, but now none of the saved games work. Super Mario 64, Zelda Ocarina of Time, etc. Emulation feels faster.

This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.<br />Still not fast enough to play very well on a 667MHz G4 PowerBook, but that's probably not the fault of the emulator. I'd love to try this out on a dual 2GHz G5! Seems to work pretty well especially with the sound off.

This is certainly improving as we go along - but I'm wondering if anyone else is actually able to use the emu for playing yet - if so, what games? The only problem other than speed (which seems to be constantly improving) is choppy audio despite which sound setting I chose. Great work - please keep it up! Can't wait to play SOTE on my Mac!

This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.<br />This is great software. Beta 2 runs a tad more quickly on my machine. CorradoKid, I'd like to know what kind of hardware you are running. Zelda: Ocarina Of Time plays just fine on my G4, overclocked to 533, with an also overclocked 133 bus, and a Radeon Mac Edition vid card. I'd think that to be the low end of what most users are running for this kind of emulator. I do believe this software would kill a similarly equipped G3. The only problems I have with this software are the choppy audio, and that it doesen't support 1024x768 resolution, like another emulator I've tried, however, in terms of overall performance, sixtyforce, is, by far the best there is. Each revision shows a vast improvement over the other. Gerrit, I've paid the shareware fee, keep up the good work!
