Publisher's description of removableTrezor
removableTrezor is a Windows-based application, a simplified version of our miniTrezor program. It has to be installed onto a removable media, on which it creates a protected, safe store for your sensitive data: files are encrypted and password protected. It doesn't use the Windows' registry, so you can use your trezor (your encrypted files) on another computer, as well.

You can take your encrypted files with you using this free portable program, although removableTrezor's performance was a bit spotty.
Befitting a portable program, you don't have to install removableTrezor. Simply copy it to the removable media of your choice. You'll first need to set up a user name and password, which leads to your protected storage area, and you'll need to enter your information again. Some testers complained that they repeatedly received an error message stating that the user name was undefined. Other testers found that the Help file index appeared, but the individual pages didn't. The program, for those testers who could access it, was easy enough to use, and tooltips tell you button functions. A file menu and toolbar perform all the actions, and a standard file browser lets you easily locate files. Once you select a file, it immediately appears in the designated folder. By default, the tree menu holds a single folder with your user name, but it's easy to add others. Columns to the right of the file tree show folder contents, including file name, size, date added, and owner.
While some testers found the program to be effective, and they liked its portability, we can't give it our full recommendation since some testers never got past the login. Still, removableTrezor is free, so you'll lose nothing if you want to try it for yourself.
