This program is incredibly useful for translating documents from Spanish to English. The @promt Professional Translator can translate documents quickly and fairly accurately. A split program window displays the original document on one side and the translated text on the other for comparison. During testing, we were able to translate a 50-page document in under five minutes. Though the translation wasn't perfect, it was sufficient for even more complicated, technical documents. You can enhance the program in a number of ways, by adding dictionaries, other topic templates, or custom translation rules. The program also can be programmed to leave unedited URLs, e-mail addresses, and other words or phrases that don't require translation. You also can add third-party dictionaries or spelling checkers. Overall, this is a robust and reliable translator for academics and professionals alike.
