Summary
As someone said on App Store review - "a wish come true" - and I wholeheartedly second that .
This is an excellent app and its simplifies what could be a tedious process of sending data from your desktop (and web for that matter) to my iPhone. Following Merlin Mann's of 43folders.com suggestion I too write practically everything in TextMate (http://lifehacker.com/173159/how-i-work-merlin-mann) but now with a simple Ctrl+C+C shortcut I can instantaneously transfer my notes and todos to iPhone right before I head out to meet the client. Sending Google Maps url to the iPhone is as simple as Ctrl+C+C and whats even better its automatically opens not in Mobile Safari but directly in iPhone's own Maps app. This is so cool. There are bunch of other features that I did not get a chance to explore, but whats absolutely great is that desktop client runs smoothly on Mac, Windows and Linux (not care about Linux that much myself, but still...) AND it also has a full featured web client. This Multi-Platform support + Web client is the killer feature for me as I can run in on my Windows box in the office, Mac at home and hop on the web anywhere I want (client's office, local library, a cafe... whatever!). I truly hope that some of the bigwigs like Don MCallister of ScreenCastsOnline, Andy Ihnatko (hope I spell his last name correctly!) of CWOB, Merlin Mann (the indisputable heavyweight when it comes to productivity), Leo Laporte from MacBreak Weekly, or a guys from the lifehacker.com can do a full review of this newcomer for us. I will be definitely sharing info on myPhoneDesktop application with all my friends and in no doubt would communicate suggestions, feature request, and bugs :) to the developer. I would definitely urge other users of myPhoneDesktop to do the same.
