Pros: This is 7zip with a proper UI
Cons: Even after opting out of the toolbar, the standard version still did funny things to my registry

"Should change their name to Scam-Zip"
Pros: Pros... as in professional ad scammers.
Cons: Adware,spyware, unauthorized registry changes.. Thank you PC Doctor for catching it in time.
Summary: CNET needs to either test all the software it recomends or chance getting deleted the way we delete scamware. There are too many legit sites sites out there to waste our time with the fakes. Bad news travels fast.

Pros: - Free & without add-ons (Use corporate version)
- Supports many formats
- Similar to 7-zip, except with a decent user interfaceCons: - The normal version changes your browser homepage and install Yahoo Toolbar. So download the corporate version. It's completely clean & free.
Summary: Over the years, I've used WinZip, WinRAR, IZArc, and 7-zip, which are all excellent programs. (Well, Winzip is so-so)

"Why download this compared to 7-ZIP?"
Pros: It's a zip program, to the most basic.
Cons: 1 - Doesn't integrate into Windows 7 shell. 2 - Doesn't unzip multiple files at once, "batch unzip." 3 - Is extremely difficult to remove it, the uninstall that comes with it still leaves the program in the Control Panel under programs.
Summary: I would download 7-Zip, it does everything mentioned that I hate about jZip. Save time, and hassle by downloading the free 7-Zip, that's way better than this application.
