The program says "No stream found on this page" while showing the stream in the window below. Capture does NOT work. Useless. Not able to capture a simple Flash stream.

I downloaded this and tried to convert a youtube file to mp3. It appeared to download the 170kb file into the designation I chose I saw it in that folder but then 2 second later it disappeared! So I tried another file same thing 170kb file downloaded then disappeared. I have searched my computer for the files but i can't find them. My computer has started to run slow. I'm not sure what I should do.

I'm confused and concerned. The web address of the so called maker is a dead end.

I'm running OS X 10.5.8 (PPC). Specs say that this ap is compatible but apparently not. I get a message saying that the application is not supported on my architecture.

It has a simple, clear interface, useful preference choices and works reliably and quickly. NB: CNET's version is for Intel Macs, but the PPC version IS available from the iTubeGrabber website. AND it works in 10.4.11.

I have no criticisms of it at all.

It is elegant, simple and effective. And there are PPC and Intel versions.Though it is claimed to be for OS X 10.5 etc, it (or at least the PPC version; I cannot try the Intel one on my system) works perfectly well in 10.4.11.
Simple, clear, works excellently, even on Tiger.

Piece of junk. Don't bother downloading. I've now tried two version of this garbage. Easier to simply use Safari to grab the native .flv file (or .mp4 file) and convert it with other free tools.

It is a huge PITA for developers of these apps to keep up with the obstacles put in their way by various websites. YouTube, for example, comes up with some new anti-downloading strategy at least once a month. iTube Grabber has some quirky behaviors, but it continues to get better. The previous version solved a problem I had grabbing from one particular musician's site. Very nice! Essentially this is a web browser dedicated to finding and downloading video files. It doesn't get much easier. Last month I was a fan of the Firefox 'DownloadHelper' extension. But iTube Grabber is much nicer as a dedicated video download application. That the developer continues to offer it for FREE is astounding. BIG THANKS!
