iSyncTunes is used to transfer songs from an iTunes library on one computer to another one, or from your iPod. This is most often done to back songs up, transfer songs to a new computer, transfer music stored on multiple computers to an iPod that is managed by one computer, or to restore music from your iPod. iSyncTunes finds all of your music automatically and allows you to directly add files to iTunes. The discovery feature lets you transfer songs without having to know the IP address of the source computer. You can transfer songs between computers connected to your home network or the Internet, or you can transfer songs to a transfer library on a removable disk if your computers are not connected to the network.
Version 1.6 allows to directly add files to iTunes without having to save a song list.

"Best Free iPod Ripper Available on Cnet"

Pros
This is the ONLY free ripper that got my songs off my 7 year old iPod.
Cons
Nothing. It may by "no frills" and not be glitzy but it does the job and it's easy to use.
Summary
The other iPod rippers either wouldn't open, would crash if it couldn't get a song, had a 10-song limit or some other nonsense. This one installed fast and easy, was easy to use and did the trick. Got my 5000 song collection back to download to something a little newer! I never write reviews unless I'm truly thrilled and I never like paying, but I'll probably click the donate option at the bottom for this.

Cons
Interface is a little messy, but this is a sync software not a music manager so it doesn't really matter.

"Simple and Functional!"

Works very well! It took around 17 minutes to transfer 1100 songs to my computer from my ipod. Very simple interface and is easy to use. Perfect for free!
Cons
When you import songs from a device, the names of the files change and are not legible until you add them to an iTunes library. When you click the import folder, you will only see a bunch of files that are names something like _ipod_control_music###
Summary
However, when you add those files to an iTunes library, the names of the songs then show up as normal again.
Honestly, this is a great freeware program. it has the functionality of expensive software, but in a much simpler package. -
"Does not work for iPod Touch 4"

This program probably works. It did actually load up and find my iTunes library, which is more than I can say for the 4 other free programs I have tried thus far.
Cons
Would not recognize my iPod Touch 4. It says to "enable disk use" in iTunes which does not even apply to any version of the iPod Touch, as the Touch does not even have this feature.

"Just what I needed"

Pros
Syncs all my songs including the ratings and play counts to iTunes. Fast and without errors for 1200+ songs (in 3 batches). Simple to use once you add your iPod in manual mode.
Cons
None that I can see. Large download file, perhaps.

Yet again,...free software that works,and fills a need.Why Apple can`t see to offer us a similiar product or just build it into I Tunes is beyond me.My Large laptop died and needs a heart bypass or something, costing an arm and a leg so I wanted to transfer my tunes to my net book,in the meantime.This software allowed me to do just that,...no drama!
Do yourself a favour,...get this program. The blue screen of death is closer than you think. -

It's so cool b/c u just plug in ur ipod and sync it to iSyncTunes, which retrieves every song (~10 min). Afterwards, u can go 2 ur own iTunes library and import the new folder you created w/ the program w/ all letters like ADJL KLDJF DFJK and bingo!

Took a little bit of computer programming, and I've never been good at that stuff, but it definitely works!
