  This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.<br />I had been using OmniFocus as a beta-tester for 6 months and have to say that iGTD is approximately 100 times better than OmniFocus or any other gtd app out there. And the fact that this is freeware is unbelievable. And it's so cool that it automatically syncs multiple computers (using .mac) without even having to manually sync is amazing. Why can't iCal do that?? This software is clean, stable and well-thought out.

The interface is sheer genius, and its author realy knows GTD on a very subtle, differentiated level. I feel I'm in very good hands with this one. Offering it for free is an incredibly generous service to the Mac GTD community.

Try out the f-key data entry tricks. I'll bet at least one will impress you. I have depended on the .mac syncing feature to manage a single GTD document on my laptop and work computer and it has worked well. The system is simple, iGTD syncs to .mac when it quits, but has been reliable. I have avoided ical syncing because of worries about my calendar data. Sounds like that might have been a good idea. Entering data seems to have become more buggy with the latest version. I always seem to be getting extra "new events" pasted into my list whether I hit tab or return or enter. Overall the solo developer is giving us an amazing product for free! Thanks.

I entered notes from phone calls, e-mail address, phone numbers, to-do dates, etc. suddenly I found that I could not delete an incorrectly-added item. Deleting one deleted all, and eventually all my data seemed frozen in the application. I'm glad I didn't have months or years of data entered. I have decided to step away from iGTD and go back to using iCal and Text edit.. True they aren't as whizzy, but I need data integrity more than I need cool features. Not trying to slam the developer, just saying that from my experience, maybe a little more work needs to be done in the stability department. Maybe just me?

  This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.<br />This is an amazing bit of freeware. Frequently updated, nice interface, tons of keyboard shortcuts, and good documentation. I shopped around for list manager/GTD programs and I haven't found anything better than this. The menubar icon is excellent, and there are several other options for quickly adding tasks or pieces of information (quicksilver integration, keyboard shortcuts for safari, mail, finder). I haven't used the growl support, but that seems like a nice touch too. Recommended all the way.
