iBeeZz offers full management of your Mac activity with complete Mac OS X integration. It can be used as a complete alarm clock.
Thanks to iBeeZz, you can choose when your Mac will go to sleep and when it will wake. You may also choose to log out on sleep. Otherwise, you may, on wake up, choose to:
- open a document with it's corresponding application,
- launch an application,
- or execute a compiled AppleScript (i.e. play music).
What's new in this version: Mac OS X 10.4 compatibility is back.

I first started using iBeeZz on my PowerMac many, many years ago and it always worked. It did become buggy during the some OSX upgrades so I quit using it. I just noticed a few days ago it was back and supports OS X Lion so I thought I'd give it another try. It works!

I keep having to kill the user agent and daemon because they use all my CPU. But it does work as advertised. The authors are completely unresponsive to email, so you are on your own with this. I don't think it's worth the money for that reason. If they are just going to throw it out there and not give any support, they should say so and charge a hell of a lot less. -

I use this application to WAKE the computer, and SLEEP it. When my system is powered off, I don't want it to START UP, as Apple's Energy Saver schedule panel does.
This fills a nice void in Apple's energy management software.
The only issue with this product is the price. As little as it does, I think around $5 would be a more fair cost.

I have used Ibeezz for several years now (maybe longer) without a single problem. So, I did not hesitate to download the latest version 2.5.
First of all, the new version does not work. I have been testing with various times for the last 2 days and it just plain stopped working. On top of that, I constantly get pop up reminders telling me a version is available, even with the new version option turned off.
I would love to have the previous version back but have had no luck finding it available. Any working version would be appreciated.
I have emailed the makers of this once priceless product and have yet to hear back from them. Are they on strike?
My rating and recommendation are for version 2.5 only. -
