GeoQpons is a brilliantly simple app that pulls up coupons based on your GPS location. Just fire it up when you're out, and it will scan its database for any discounts available nearby. You can browse through available coupons based on distance or alphabetically by retailer's name. There's also a convenient Favorite feature that lets you save stores that you visit often. This keeps you from having to scroll exhaustively through listings every time you're out.

We also love the added conveniences that GeoQpons offers, like the Shopping List, Discount Calculator, and bar code scanner. While there are other apps that may perform each of these functions better, it's nice to have them rolled up neatly into the GeoQpons app for quick access.

One thing worth noting is that GeoQpons, as of now, seems to be more focused on smaller neighborhood shops than big-box retailers. Some may be turned off by this, but we don't necessarily think it's a bad thing. One problem we did find, however, was slow performance. At times it took an extra long time to load deals, and it even failed to load completely on a few occasions.

Overall, we still recommend adding GeoQpons to your App Drawer. Since the company seems to have strong partnerships with mom-and-pop shops, we think it makes a great complement to other deal finders like Shopkick, which tend to focus more on big-box retailers.
