  was fun while it lasted.

  redeem your points and get banned. after daily & diligent use of this app, all of my friends and I were notified we had used the app outside of its terms of service. We all sent emails stating that we hadn't only to each receive the standard "too bad" form email from "eileen." each of us was banned right before reaching the points needed for redemption. they were rude ("too bad") and dismissive. In my opinion, they are collecting from retailers and banning people right before they are eligible for a reward.

  Summary

  don't waste your time. it's not worth your gas, time and dedication. everyone i know (and i've referred over 40 people) has been banned.

  Pros

  Can be great to learn about products and to learn where they are in the store, great for getting you out of the house, great for earning gift cards!

  Cons

  Store employees that don't know about the App and they dont know how to redeem your points for you. and they get rude and wont get the items to be scanned out of the locked counter for you to scan. when you are in the store and get your walk in kicks for the app and you start to scan it tell's you "you must be in the store to scan". then when scanning it says it's not the right product (when you know that it is) and the next person comes up and it scans just fine for them. The program freezes your phone and you have to take the battery out, when turned back on it says Too Bad you didn't follow the rules and you are banned! or when shop kicking with a group of shop kickers on big kick days you get banned, because the app thinks you have more than one account. Or when they ban you for Following all the rules they wont tell you why you were banned. and also they block your points that you lawfully earned for all your hard work and waste of gas. Half of walkins never work!

  Summary

  The program can be great but the bugs need to be worked out of the app! (and there are many) when you write to customer service all they do is send you a automated response with rules attached saying you didn't follow the rules, and they don't tell you what to you did wrong. I have read Thousands of reviews from people who got banned and did nothing wrong. Note to users: Redeem your points as soon as you get enough to redeem, because when you get banned (and you will, after all your hard work) you will lose them! Never shop kick standing directly next to anyone who may be shop kicking with you as Shop kick will say you have more than one account, (when you don't). there are many times when you are physically in a store the app will tell you, you must be in the store to scan! there are many products you scan that say its not the right product and the person next to you scans and it is right. Products that can be scanned are in locked counters and the employees refuse to get them out when they know you just want to scan them. and some employee's have been very rude. when trying to redeem points at Target the employees have never heard of the App and they don't know how to redeem them. i can go on and on about the pot holes. when there are big kick days is when you will get banned, i believe the system gets overloaded or there are so many shop kickers around each other they say you are cheating, when your clearly NOT. I am disabled and put my heart and soul into shop kicking and always taking my value time and effort to spread the word in the stores to people that are curious to why you are scanning, standing there for a long time explaining the program to them, its very frustrating getting banned when you been doing this on a daily basis for almost 2 years and I look forward to it as it gets me out of the house and gives me something to do. to only get banned when i have read the rules many times and always check on them to see if the rules have changed, just to make sure i follow all the rules. Employees in stores need to be trained about the program. because so many of them have never heard about it. and they don't know how to redeem your points. there is much more about this app, i will be spreading the word!

  Can be fun to do when you're bored if you aren't banned for NO reason!

  Shopkick bans people for no reason. I have my theories why (scams). I'll keep those theories to myself. My friend was banned last week for absolutely no reason. He sent multiple emails to shopkick for a resolution and answers. All of his emails were ignored. Two days ago I sent them an email on his behalf expressing my disappointment in how they ignore this honest and faithful users and concens. This morning shopkick responded by banning me also. Shopkick is fun until the powers that be decide they want you out! And they WILL ban you eventually. I'm extremely disappointed with them. My friend and I were 100% honest in our walk-ins and our scans. Their faulty systems caused some sort of an issue which got my friend banned; however, their own lack of user appreciation by completely ignoring us when problems and concerns happen is what I'm most saddened by. Their business practice of ignoring the problem and penalizing honest users is both poor business practice and bad ethics.

  Summary

  Shopkick doesn't have any user interest in mine. They just care for themselves. They're an awful company with terrible business ethics. You don't have to believe me now; but remember what I wrote when you DO get banned for doing absolutely nothing.

• USED TO be good

  if you don't get falsely banned, you can get a gift card from $5-$25 every month.

  Cons

  In the past couple months, they have begun banning people, falsely claiming they are cheating. They refuse to say why. They have a vague rule about 'scanning too fast' (like people are running through stores scanning?) Legitimately traveling gets people banned. Scanning at OshGosh/Carter's triggers bans. Also there is a lot of 'glitches' where the scans don't work. Another issue is that sometimes products are not nationwide..and aren't in most stores..THERE IS NO APPEAL PROCESS...they just tell you to take a hike. Sure there are some people who are cheating..so it seems that SK is just randomly banning people to make it look like they are stopping cheating..but most people are innocent.

  Summary

  Use at your own risk....don't go out of your way to get points..they could be taken from you for no reason.

  Ok product. use it. Get your kicks and run.

  Cons

  Do not link your card. Not rewarding at all. You need to go at least 15 times to the same store to get a $2 discount at target, for example Don't waste your time on scanning. Most products are not available or cannot be scanned. Kicks on walking is not reliable. You don't always get them. having an issue? Do not contact them. They won't care and will close your request after 4 dames. They'll ask you places, date and exact time you went there and it did not work. If you can't answer that or return to the store to recheck again within 4 days, they'll dismiss your request.

  Summary

  A great idea, an amateurish team. They claim o value customers. In fact, they value pride instead of quality

  Have not used this so don't read too much into this "review." I gave this app 4 stars based on what i've read about it and based on fact that I'd LOVE to be able to use it and I wanted to post comment about size of app and to do that I needed to give it some sort of rating. Wish I could try this out but, unfortunately, my LG Op V has so little memory available that I can't spare the room. Will def. install this on my next phone.

  Cons

  I was excited about this app when I read other reviews but, when I went to market, I was disappointed that the app takes a whopping 5mb of space and that's BEFORE installing. prob even more once on phone & it can't be moved 2sd.

  Summary

  This looks like a wonderful app for anyone who loves to shop and who has a phone that has lots of available memory.

  Pros

  For those of you willing to dedicate 10-15 minutes a day to shopkick you will see the benefits quick. Simply checking in, referring friends and checking in will give you large amounts of kickbucks. Redeem these for whatever reward you desire.

  Cons

  This app has very little cons, if you're not willing to dedicate 10-15 minutes a day to shopkick then you will benefit at a much slower pace.

  Summary

  This app is amazing in terms of benefits. For those of you who haven't downloaded it, I'd strongly suggest it you can easily get 25$ giftcards for restaurants every two weeks. To jumpstart you guys off you can use my invite-a-friend code (kudu3647) when you download the app, you get a 50 for just entering that code. .
