EDoc Organizer is a sleek and intuitive program that allows users to organize a variety of electronic documents. It doesn't have a ton of features, but it does have a few effective tools that make document organization a breeze.
The program's interface is well-designed and attractive, with its features separated into several pains and a handful of menus. Users simply import existing electronic documents or scan paper ones, and the program displays thumbnails of each one. Users can use color-coded labels to organize the documents; the program comes with labels for bills and the months of the year, but users can create their own custom labels as well. Documents can be sorted by age, and a search feature allows users to search their documents, although it appears only to search labels and document comments. Although the program does not have a Help file per se, the publisher's Web site does contain video tutorials. Overall, we found the program easy to use and potentially helpful, even if it is a little short on features. It's an effective way to organize electronic documents and is suitable for users with even basic computer skills. We can think of many potential uses for it, from organizing monthly bills (so many of which arrive electronically now anyway) to keeping receipts and important papers, and even keeping research sources organized.

After re-installing my machine with Windows 10, EDOC LLC refused to activate my license for EDOC Organizer HOME Edition and tried to force me down the path of a new product (with a monthly subscription fee). The product I bought was not a subscription based application. As a personal user, re-installing on exactly the same hardware, I find this very poor form and would steer clear if EDOC LLC at all costs as they certainly don't look after the customer. They even lied to me about the content of the EULA that I agreed to when communicating with the Owner of the organisation. If I was asking for activation several years later - that would be a different story and I wouldn't be upset if they declined to activate.
Andrew has been using eDoc Organizer since early 2013 and upgraded to Windows 10 recently. He was upset to find out that the 2013 edition that he purchased and is not compatible with Windows 10. He threatened to leave bad reviews when told he couldn?t continue to use 2013 software with Windows 10. eDoc Organizer Home edition used components that were no longer supported by Microsoft on Windows 10. We created eDoc Organizer On-Premise edition from the ground up to address this and other feedback from our customers.
Andrews?s comments about the EULA are inaccurate as well. We changed the EULA to clarify the policy we already had, not to create a new policy and enforce it on existing customers.
We have had multiple updates since he purchased and even this new edition. If we did not update our software on a regular basis it would quickly become obsolete. We made every attempt to work with Andrew to find common ground. Unfortunately we cannot make every customer happy.

In my 9+ months search to a nice program (DMS), I saw a lot of programs... but then I saw eDoc organizer. It was really amazing. It has all you need to make sure your desktop stays clean! I tried several other programs also, but none of them could convince me. Some of them were to difficult to set up or work with, other were to expensive (€1500+ !!). Edoc has it all! easy and nice to work with, affordable and a verrrrrrrrry good service afterwards!! I recommend eveyone to at least try this program. You'll see you will be pleased!!
Friendly, easy to use, and convenient to organize all the professional and educational papers and documents that I produce. I really am also happy with the technical support that I have received. The tutorials worked well for me.
Like any software, this should need some improvement. Thus, I check from time to time for new versions.
Again, this is an excellent instrument to get organized. I would recommend it to those who have not much knowledge about computer applications, since it is easy to use.
The program is both as simple as you want and as advanced as you choose to make it.
It took me a few minutes to get comfortable with the file organization but is is windows standard with a little twist. This is not a problem with the program.
I installed this program and was up and running in short order. I had an initial problem with my scanner (my scanner software was installed wrong) and their email tech support had the problem fixed in a matter of minutes. Tech support is as great as any I have encountered.
I am scanning documents and building a pretty large database. The program is handling things without any problems. I own other competitors and this is the best on the market.
Uses document feeder, OCR is very accurate, let's me use tags and keywords of my choice.
Not a huge fan of dark color interface, stored PDF files use system generated names.
I've put almost 1,000 documents in E-Doc and couldn't do without it. I'm glad I got it instead of the Neat scanner & software. I can search for text like a Doctor's name or other text and it finds all documents containing that text. Well worth the $ to be rid of all paper filing. Don't forget to implement a good backup system if you use any document storage solution without paper backup.

Probably the best thing I can say, is this company goes above and beyond to support their product. Emails are answered within hours, to the point help and instructions, and even an offer to connect remotely so they could fix the problem if I couldn't. All at no extra cost! That just doesn't happen with most software companies these days. Download it and try it out!!
