While its appeal is limited, this is a great toolbar for eBay merchants and their customers. eBay Toolbar for Firefox stretches across your Firefox window in typical toolbar fashion. The buttons themselves are basic but attractive.
As you might expect, there are numerous links that take you directly to eBay to manage your account. What makes this toolbar a standout are all the extra links to aid any eBay buyer or seller. There are links to various other bidding and classified sites to compare prices. There are even links to the USPS, FedEx, and UPS sites, along with a fee calculator and glossary. Each link included with the toolbar took us directly to its corresponding page without hesitation.
We would have given this toolbar a higher rating had it included options to customize the toolbar. There's plenty of room on the toolbar to add even your most typical toolbar shortcuts, such as a weather display or e-mail notifier. Also, there isn't an uninstall feature, and we had to go into our program files to uninstall the program manually, which left us a little uneasy. But if you can't get through a day without your eBay fix, this free toolbar will give you quick access to all of your eBay accounts and auctions.

"Not so great and kind of unnecessary"
Cons: It requires you to sign in with "ebay companion" I'm also kind of suspicious of any ties with spyware and adware.
