CNET Editors' review
Does the world really need another audio CD burner? Probably not, but if we must have them, we could do a lot worse than dBpowerAMP CD Writer. Like similar programs, it burns CDs from audio files in formats including MP3, OGG, and WMA. It can also burn MP3 compilations. In our tests, it performed quite well, both in terms of speed and sound quality. The interface is straightforward but looks a bit amateurish. We recommend power users check out the Options dialog, where they will find basic tools for editing sound (adding fade-in effects, swapping channels). After installing the program, we discovered it came with a bunch of other useful applications for converting audio files and ripping CDs. On the downside, dBpowerAMP CD Writer lacks a basic utility for creating disk labels and covers. That's a fairly minor quibble, though. Simple and reliable, dBpowerAMP CD Writer will definitely pull its weight.Publisher's Description
