It still features the legendary Speech Recognition Engine, the SAPI4, also known as the "Speech Engine That Wouldn't Die." That's right; as a matter of fact it is has been around since 1998 and is still available as a free download from Microsoft's Web site. You'll need to download this beast (SAPI4SDKSUITE.exe) before ZAP. Voice Control will work.
We recommend installing all the features of the SAPI4, because that way, the user's voice can be trained so that ZAP! Voice Control will be even more precise in it's ability to recognize even the most complex voice commands. This version is the first release on CNET Download.com.
