YouRecorder provides a simple set of controls for recording all desktop action on a computer. With its incredibly simple controls and impressive results, this is a great tool for documenting your work.
YouRecorder's iPhone-mimicking interface is easy to operate and understand from the start. We never felt lost or confused since its commands are so intuitive. The program provides four distinct functions, all of which operate in basically the same manner. Whether you want to record your entire desktop, part of the screen, a small window, a video game, or a Webcam, the controls are a simple RECORD and STOP button buried in the corner of your screen. While the Webcam option distinguishes itself from the rest of the features by providing a small video monitor for recording, the video game setting doesn't seem much different from what many other programs offer. Nevertheless, it records game play as advertised. You can watch a playback of the onscreen action in real time. It feels like a great tool for documenting actions such as software controls or for creating instructional films. The program's strongest feature is its single-button conversion of recordings to .wmv or .avi file formats. However, at every turn this program is simple to operate and provides impressive results.
YouRecorder's trial period limits you to 100-second recordings with watermarks. It installs desktop icons without permission and leaves folders after uninstalling.

Pros
you recorder does what it suggests, a powerful video recorder, and is able to capture Perfect 30 FPS, even if your machine isn't the best out there!
customer support is amazing, and if you encounter a problem you can bet they will attempt to fix it!Cons
Some of the updates to the program may come with new errors, which can get a little frustrating, and the audio will progressively get out of synch with the video (but that's easy to fix with a video editor).
Summary
Overall, I consider Yourecorder to be an even more powerful video recorder than Snagit, and quite possibly a Second best choice if your computer cannot handle Fraps, It does what its supposed to do, and by far, it has proven a very reliable video recorder.
Perfect for recording Audio, Videos, Game Emulators, and even Real Full screen games.
Some updates may come corrupt in some way, and that can get frustrating at times, but their support team is great, and are more than ready to listen to what you find is wrong, and more than willing to fix and improve their software in any way they can, and a company that cares about its product and its customers, is most valuable in my book!
