"Slow and Buggy"

Pros
None that I can think of and I've been using it since the early 90's. I'm trying to download all my messages so I can stop using the service.
Cons
The new version is absolutely worthless. Response to any command is glacial. Even trying to check ONE message is a challenge since the program is unresponsive and I've tried it on all my computers at home as well as several browsers. None work. You can't select all you messages and perform any command on them. I'm trying to move all my e-mail offline so I can stop using my account and I have to move it 25 or so messages at a time.
Summary
Time for Yahoo! to shut its doors. It has outlived its usefulness to the tech community. And it should shutter its liberal, lying news service as well.

and even after 3 weeks of writing at least one email a day to ymail support still all gone.

there are so many bugs that need fixing. if you make a mistake and use your browser to go back it asks you for your password again. DONT give it, its probably a hack that allows someone else to hack your mail. I know a few people now that have being hacked.

use something else. it has lots of bugs that yahoo clearly dont give 2 hoots about fixing as the problems are still there. hackers have exploited the javascripts. Overall a total waste of time. not to hackers though.

Excellent Spam filter, does sorting very well. When everything works, it is a useful e-mail system (but this is where the problems start).
Cons
Full of glitches, slow downs, annoying ads. Often can't access contacts, or contact do not come up automatically. Server hang-ups, or error messages, interface has design problems - i.e. adding multiple files is not as easy, terrible search which does not find many relevant names, or e-mail addresses. I was with the 2d version of Yahoo for several years, and then it just forced me into the new beta version, which had so many virus issues! I could not go back to my 2d version (which was by the way much better), and had to go all the way back to classic version, which I hate.

Well, if compare with gmail, yahoo is a miserly richer. You must pay money for pop3, forwarding, big size of attachment.
Yahoo mail still a slow email service with ugly GUI while Gmail's Feature can replace Outlook and it's free.
