Most add-ons throw in some type of search functionality, but few bring extra value to the table. This discreet Internet Explorer plug-in, however, truly helps expand or narrow Web searches.
Xippee is an unobtrusive add-on--it doesn't appear as a toolbar button or new toolbar. Instead it pops up a small panel when you double-click on text in a list of search results--the text blurb with the link, not the link itself. The panel includes a Plus button and a Minus button. Clicking one will either add or remove results that are similar to the one you selected.
This free plug-in for IE performed very well in our tests, responding to our clicks quickly. We liked that Xippees plus and minus panel popped up even while we had our pop-up blocker enabled. Users won't have to worry about opening up their surfing experience to annoying pop-up ads while enjoying Xippees features. We recommend it for anyone using IE for browsing.
Publisher's description
From Bunn Technologies :The Xippee Internet Explorer plug-in allows you to search visually in all of your favorite search engines (Google, Yahoo, MSN, and countless others). Simply double-click on any word (or highlight any phrase) in your search results, then plus and minus buttons will be displayed. You can press either button for the term to be added (or subtracted) to your current search and then it returns a new set of results based on your updated search string. This plug-in really does save you vast amounts of time and is really simple to use. We also have a 60 second video demo you can watch (if you choose to) while Xippee installs on your computer.
Note after installation: Xippee needs to cache everything in the browser first which requires browsing a couple of pages before it will begin to show up on the page. The reason for this is to improve the speed at which Xippee operates.
Version 2 may include unspecified updates, enhancements, or bug fixes.

Pros: This is a simple but amazing plug-in, it is a must-have for anyone that searches on google, yahoo, msn, live, ask, google desk, and much more! I'd absolutly recomend it to anyone that must use a search, for an example, when you research something, you are able to refine your search till you get what you want.
Cons: Probobly the only problem I have found with this Plug-in is... It dosen't seem to work on vista; but I believe it should be fixed soon.

Version: Xippee for Internet Explorer 2
Pros: Wow! This is both a simple and an elegant plug-in. Although I already knew how to use the quotes and the minus sign in my searches, I did get tired of retyping my search to modify it. Problem solved!
