World travelers frequently return with picture albums full of architectural masterpieces. This screensaver draws from the same imaginative well, offering nearly 50 photos of buildings ranging from cathedrals to royal palaces. Unfortunately, we found the image quality to be inconsistent. The software does provide a range of options, allowing users to set how often images are changed, switch their order, and choose transition effects. Images can be displayed in black and white, or used as wallpaper on the computer's desktop and automatically shifted every hour. No soundtrack is provided, however. Despite drawbacks, this wide-ranging download may appeal to architecture aficionados looking for a broad sample of the world's most impressive buildings.
