Windows Live Writer is a great client for Windows Live Spaces but also works with other weblogs including Blogger, LiveJournal, TypePad, or WordPress. "The best publishing tool for blogs!"
Pros: You can publish posts to various clients such as Blogger, WordPress, TypePad, etc. Includes features to upload video, photo albums, and maps. Ability to add plug-ins to increase functionality. One-touch publishing is a life saver. Easily tag posts.
Cons: You need to add extra plug-ins to get features and web services from Google.
Summary: I am a fan of very few Microsoft products but Windows Live Writer has made a breakthrough. It is the perfect tool for avid bloggers and I recommend to anyone who wants to simplify their blogging experience with powerful tools.

Pros: -Compatible with many many different blog platforms. I use it for Blogger
-Automatically ping servers when you post
-Save drafts locally
-Preview the post with the whole template before publishing
-Ability to easily add Technorati TagsCons: -When I press enter, rather than just making a line break, it adds the <p> new paragraph tag which double spaces. In addition, when I try to edit using Blogger's editor on HTML mode, it is a jumble of coding that is hard to look through.
Summary: Windows Live Writer is an excellent blogging tool that I would recommend to any blogger.
