• Works fine. No malware

  Pros

  MD5 generation (browse-to-file) and known MD5 source comparison (cut-n-paste). Simple. This installer has been run through Virus Total's site, which has a report available and shows no hits for malware against dozens of antivirus engines.

  Cons

  It won't destroy the television whenever someone watches The Bachelorette.

  Only can handle one file at a time, i was trying to MD5 an entire folder and this would have taken forever. but it is good for checking MD5s of internet downloads

  I think this program came with a Trojan Win32.Backdoor.Hupigon.bmj scanned it with Zone Alarm ZoneAlarm Security Suite version:8.0.059.000

  I disliked it because I think it gave me a trojan. My evidence is that this torjan >>> Win32.Backdoor.Hupigon.bmj was in the places below File: C:\Documents and Settings\All\Start Menu\Programs\winMd5Sum\winMd5Sum.lnk File: C:\Program Files\winMd5Sum\winMd5Sum.exe

  i can't think of one pro...except it is so small it downloads in a blink

  this program has idicated that everything i have ever downloaded does not pass a MD5 check....including the program itself....this can't be right

  Summary

  the program is a waste of time if it will only sees everything as not having the proper check sum....now i have to find out where is placed itself on my system to toss is out...maybe it will work for someone else....i have no idea

  AVG detected a trojan virus after I installed and tried to launch the tool.
