It may not offer an extensive feature set, but this tiny application lets you quickly hide open windows. WinBoss offers a basic interface to view or modify the hot key for hiding the currently active window or all windows. The program's system-tray icon is designed to resemble the Task Manager's CPU-monitor icon for even more privacy. WinBoss performed well in testing and made hiding programs a breeze. Hidden items can't be detected through Alt Tab and won't be displayed in Task Manager. Just click the icon to quickly and easily restore windows. WinBoss works well and will suit any user who wants an effective way to hide his or her work from prying eyes and, best of all, it's offered free of charge.

Pros
Absolutely what I was looking for. Its small ( takes about 2 mb ram at any time ), free, and solves all purposes. Set a global shortcut to hide the active window! Click one button to hide all the windows!
Cons
You can actually see all windows getting minimised, instead of just disappearing... so the product is not for hiding something from your intelligent boss whos eyes are keen on ur screen!

WinBoss is a system tray application that hide one or all running programs with one short-key combination. Useful when user needs to hide their activity or to hide less important application from cluttering the desktop. The hidden running application can be restored with one click, either a selected one or all of them from a popup menu. Short-key can be modified to avoid conflict with other software. System tray icon works like Windows Task Mgr.
