Strong performance and good ease of use are the hallmarks of this simple PDF-conversion utility. Win2PDF installs as a Windows printer and integrates with any application, outputting quality PDF documents at a good pace. To create a PDF, just select the Win2PDF printer driver in any application (Microsoft Word, for example) and execute the print job. Besides conversion, Win2PDF can merge files, inserting an active document before or after any existing PDF. It also enables you to e-mail a converted PDF file directly from the Save dialog box. On top of that, it automatically converts Web addresses beginning with http and www to PDF hyperlinks. The unregistered version disables several features, including encryption, document permissions, and passwords. It also adds a short advertisement to the end of each PDF. But despite those shortcomings, Win2PDF's ease of use and decent feature set make it a reasonable choice for occasional PDF creation.Publisher's description
From Dane Prairie Systems :Win2PDF is an easy-to-use and affordable tool for creating electronic documents in the PDF file format. It installs as a printer under Windows NT, 2000, Server 2003, Windows x64, Windows XP, or Windows Vista operating systems. Creating a PDF file is as simple as selecting Print from any application and choosing the Win2PDF printer. A file will be created, which can be viewed with a PDF viewer on any type of computer. Web links beginning with http or www are automatically converted to PDF hyperlinks, and custom Windows applications including Visual Basic applications can easily interface with Win2PDF and control the PDF filename without user intervention. You can automatically attach PDF files to e-mail, and the program merges PDF output to existing PDF files. A Terminal Server version also is available for printing in a Citrix or terminal-services environment.

Version: Win2PDF 3.4
Pros: Free upgrade offered.
Cons: In spite of upgrade, this software locks up PowerPoint most every time I create a PDF. In addition, in some cases, the fonts look rough and not fully formed.
