Publisher's Description
From Webroot Software:
Webroot SecureAnywhere AntiVirus uses a radically new cloud-based approach to online security that protects you against the latest threats as soon as they emerge. And it does so at blazing fast speeds, scanning your entire PC in about 2 minutes. (After the initial scan of your PC, full system scans will typically take two minutes or less.)
With Webroot's first-of-its-kind security portal, you can set your protection settings once and they'll automatically be updated for all of your registered PCs. Versatile and effective, Webroot SecureAnywhere AntiVirus can be a standalone security solution or an extra layer of defense against threats.
What's new in this version: Version 8.0 may include unspecified updates, enhancements, or bug fixes.

Summary
I've noticed that a lot of the reviews to be seem a load of nonsense and they can only be trolls.
Webroot will not slow down your system, crash it, give false positives or anything like that.

"Total Junk!"
Version: Webroot SecureAnywhere Antivirus 2012 8.0.1.173
Pros
None that I could see.
Cons
CNET Installs this junk without your knowledge when downloading anything entirely different and they should be sued for damaging all these computers! It reports tons of false positives that no other anti-virus program finds. It will have you deleting all kinds of critical system files and required program files. Absolutely, do NOT run or even allow this program to install.
Summary
CNET once again should be ashamed of themselves for secretly downloading and installing this junkware on everyone's machine when they are clearly attempting to download something entirely different! This piece of junk is destroying computers all over the country and CNET should be sued for the damages and investigated by the federal authorities for being directly involved in this scam. You have NO RIGHT to install this or any other program behind our backs!
