Publisher's description
From Limit Point Software :WebIconCM is a contextual menu item for adding "shortcut icons" or "web page icons" to web location files.
A web location file is created in the Finder when you drag URLs from your browser to a folder. A shortcut icon is the icon you see displayed in the location field of your web browser.
WebIconCM is very easy to use:
Control-click on a selection of web location files in the Finder and select "Add Shortcut Icons" (or "Add Web Page Icon"). After processing is complete the files will have the corresponding shortcut icons (or iconic image of the page pointed to by the web location file) instead of the generic icons
The internet location of the shortcut icon is logged to the console.
WebIconCM is part of the Limit Point Software Utilities Bundle : http://www.limit-point.com/Utilities.html. Purchase a Utilities password to activate all the utilities, including WebIconCM. Updates are always free, new products always included!
What's new in this version:
- Added the "Add Web Page Icon" command for supporting adding web page icons to web location files.
- Fixed a bug in the preference pane that caused updates to the password to not be properly displayed or saved.
