  Pros

  Since they started the online tool, desktop version is not getting much attention from Web CEO Team, I am now using a simpler tool which uses Google to keep a track on competition called Google Alerts Reader available at googlealertsreader.com

  Cons

  Not much support from the vendor, I am using a low cost tool and getting good results with Google alerts Reader

  Pros

  Used to be a nice tool, but since they released their online version (which is far from being as good as their desktop tool used to be) this desktop tool is just a nightmare. Crashes, gives inaccurate results, etc. :(

  Is it still being supported by the vendor?! 0_o

• The Web CEO desktop is a good all-in-one SEO solution!

  Pros

  The Rank Checker is strong at analysis of your targeted keywords and phrases rankings performance(up to 1000!). It shows rankings at special page results (images, video, social media, etc.) on multiple search engines, including local-based search engines. The Keyword Research Tool is helpful in picking, filtering and sorting out the most relevant high ranking keywords and more preferred now long-tail phrases.

  Cons

  Web CEO desktop is a little bit slow in work because of human emulation. However, human emulation is a must when you queue search engines from your own computer. As for me, this con works as a pro - I have a local business and it is always great to see the same SERPs as my prospects do.

  I can check positions of my sites for unlimited keywords - I have nearly a thousand

  Cons

  It takes a little time to run the reports, and I understand it is because of the human emulation work in order not to be banned.

  Summary

  Since I bought it for $249, I think it is a really good value for the price.

  Pros

  With WebCEO you get all tools needed for successful SEO. However I mostly use the WebCEO rank checker + automated reports that may be customized.

  Cons

  It may take time if you check rankings or audit a large website

  Summary

  I recommend WebCEO if you need to check rankings for thousands of keywords. Try to search for promo code before you buy, it may save you money.

  Has some features other tools don't have (such as quick investigation of keywords when you really need them fast or wanna spy on your competitors.

  Cons

  Required babysitting sometimes as it gets broken sometimes Quite overpriced Not as fast as other tools (such as Rank Tracker or WebSite Auditor) Difficult interface

  Summary

  Some features are good, some are not. Generally speaking I prefer more structure when speaking about a program. Bringing all SEO functional under one roof is not very practical in terms of perrformance.

  Many famous reviews sites do not recommend webposition gold, etc, and these seo software have recently been removed from best 3 list. You may search "webposition banned" in Google. It's a must to read for beginners.
