Easy to use, Great performance, Extremely versatile with excellent support for both disk and tape derived analog audio
Requires a tiny side-step in our normal workflow to feed it WAV rather than AIFF files.
Wave Corrector is used on all disk recordings I digitize. The click removal is excellent and can be tailored to the condition of the disk. I also rely on the channel balancing and normalization tools. I highly recommend it!
*Removes clicks and pops
*Easy to use
No significant problems
I have been using this program and its predecessors for over 5 years, and have converted hundreds of LPs to CDs. The program is superior at removing scratches, clicks, pops and other artifacts. It can detect and separate tracks, normalize the output level, add starting ans ending fades or silence, and everything else I have needed. Many people have commented that the CDs sound better than the original LPs.
It's a rare thing to actually have a product deliver exactly what it says.
In this fast-change I-net world, I was a little skeptical when I bought it
in 2004, when the promise was "free upgrades for all future versions".
I suspected the company wouldn't be around long.....
Well, 4 years later, I just downloaded the 3.4 version, and my original
key still worked! So, not only do you get THE BEST vinyl de-clicker
out there, you only have to buy it ONCE. Best piece of software I
have ever bought - works as advertised, and even the first version
I had worked great.
The companies commitment to its users cannot be overstated -
this is a huge part of my satisfaction with this program - they are
here today, and will be here tommorrow - for us end-users.
Whats not to like?
I have used this software for many years and updated from very early versions with no extra fee. The program can do all you reasonably can wish when it comes to audio cleaning. My old LPs sounds like new, the cracks and the hiss are gone! I can also choose to keep some "atmosphere" from the vinyl. You have full control of what is done to the original soundfile. Ganymede test and measurement differs also in a very sympatetic way from many other software producers since they seem more interested in good ripping of the vinyl records rather than ripping off the costumers. Please read users' review for earlier versions of WCP.
It does take some time to learn ...
I could not open the files. Got an error message that only 16 bit stereo 44.1 or 48kh is supported - even though my audio was in the right format - even after resampling it multiple ways.
This is one GOOD Program! I have used it now for several years and they just keep making it better. Well worth the price and it offers you a good range of settings. It now has a batch mode for cleaning a number of Wav files at once with as many as 6 superscans in a row.You can also cut out tough clicks and pops manually and it will blend in from the edges of the cut. All of the setting are configurable. It requires some time for a learning curve to become proficient with the program. One of the very best declickers.

I might be suffering from tunnel vision, I don't know the name of the program you mention or where to go to download it.
Coluld you please help me?
If you have audio cassettes or records this software will clean up your recordings as well as, and in most cases better, than any other software available. It can be purchased at a bargain price and it runs more quickly than the others I've tested.
The algorithm used for scratch detection/removal is highly unobtrusive except in really extreme cases. By far the most capable of the many artifact processors for vinyl and tape.
I have been using Wave Corrector for several years now, working my way through my collection of about 800 albums. I did a lot of evaluation before deciding on WaveCor, choosing it because of its excellent performance and intuitive interface. So far I have digitized 600+ albums and am really happy with it. The software is stable, does a good job in finding track boundaries, removing clicks and digitially subtracting noise. I am actually amazed at how good some of my old LPs sound when they have been cleaned up. I highly recommend this software.
