"Times out after 2 minutes, no matter what."
Version: WISE-FTP 5.5.7
Pros
Does the file transfer fine.
Cons
Times out after a few minutes online, forcing the user to reconnect to the server, repeatedly. I've tried to change some settings, but the max time before connection time-out is 360 sec. Irritating.
Summary
This is a 2003 version of Wise FTP. I came looking for another FTP. I will probably never use Wise-FTP again, especially if I have to pay for it.

"Nothing but trouble"
Version: WISE-FTP 5.5.4
Cons
I'm new with running websites and all that, so I needed a simple FTP to update with. I've had so many problems with this software. The interface is unreasonably unnavigable and I've had my files corrupted several times using this. Very unreliable.

Summary
This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.
Only tried it for 1 hour - couldn't fix it.
Does not show all files/folders on remote server.
Cuts off front letters of file names. Worthless to me!!
