Publisher's description
From Laidman & Katsura :Vocal Lab helps you train to sing on key. It listens while you sing and displays the pitch of your voice on a graph, in real time. All you have to do is watch the graph while you sing and try to stay near the lines. With a little practice you can greatly improve your intonation.
Vocal Lab can identify problem areas in your singing, and can also help improve your intonation on various instruments - Violin, Brass, Woodwinds, and more.
New features in 2.1:
- "Sound Back" feature. Vocal Lab automatically generates a reference tone as an auditory guide.
- "Scroll" feature. You can now record the pitch graph for an entire song.
- Resizable window feature.
- Open/save/print feature.
What's new in this version:
- Minor bug fix.

Version: Vocal Lab 2.2.2
"This application is recommended by some voice teachers."
Pros: This provides visual feedback of pitch accuracy. The sensitivity of pitch feedback can be adjusted to smooth out variances caused by vibrato.
Cons: Singers should be careful not to tighten their vocal mechanism in an effort to fine tune pitch. I recommend that a voice teacher train singers to use this properly.
Summary: I like the product, but caution that beginning singers with pitch problems be assisted by a teacher of vocal technique.

Version: Vocal Lab 2.2.2
"Download easy. Activate AU easy. Works without fault."
Pros: This product does show the notes at which the vocals are at. It provides an auditory tone for specific notes. It shows the frequency at which the signer should be at and where they are.
Cons: The graphical display is too small and confusing to properly use or figure out. There is no replay button or ability to modify the suspect notes. A bit too basic for me.
