Though Visual MP3 suffers from a few design flaws, it still stands as a comprehensive media player. For some reason we don't quite understand, the MP3 ripper is separated from the rest of the program. We wish it were bundled with the main utility and that it let you convert more than eight tracks. The jukebox app has a cluttered, confusing design that took us a bit of tinkering to understand. In terms of features, however, Visual MP3 has virtually every element we've come to expect from this type of app. You can edit ID tags, filter files by a variety of parameters, create playlists, change EQ settings, and even connect to the Internet to download ID3 tags and lyrics. Even though it could be easier to use and more tightly integrated, Visual MP3 has just about everything else most listeners will need in an audio player.Publisher's description
From iProgram Development :Visual MP3 is a MP3/karaoke player, MP3 organizer, CD ripper, and file renamer. Play your music, rip CDs, edit tags, rename your files in batches, and search for lyrics online. In addition to playing MP3 files, it can be used to create or import karaoke lyric sheets for songs, which can then be displayed onscreen as the song plays. The built-in player can recognise ID3 v1/v2 tags, and catalog MP3s by either album name, artist, or song title. A graphic equalizer also is supplied to get the sound you want. Your MP3s are organized in an alphabetical listing by either album name, artist, or song title. You can use the built-in player or launch Winamp.
Additional features include advanced search capabilities, tag editing, and HTML, TXT, and Winamp M3U playlists. The built-in CD ripper can make direct digital copies from audio CDs and save them as MP3, OGG, and WAV files. It can download disc information from the CDDB, write ID3 tags, and organize them using Visual MP3 automatically.
