Video Surgeon is an easy to use software tool for musicians, athletes, hobbyists, dancers, and anyone else that uses video as part of the learning, teaching or instruction. YouTube is a nice start, but when it comes to download capabilities why stop there! Video Surgeon's unique "sniffer technology" allows users to find and download videos from an estimated 90% of all sites with video on the WWW. Video Surgeon enhances your learning or teaching by enabling you to slow the video down, zoom in, and create practice loops. Additional features include the ability to rip non-encrypted DVDs, create customized or tailored lessons that can be saved for recall and use later. Also converts and saves audio to mp3 or wav formats.
What's new in this version: Version 1.1.1.3 contains a number of changes including the ability to automatically detect and download videos. This includes Youtube and approximately 90% of all web sites that contain video. This new release also includes the ability to adjust the tempo and pitch of files in smalller increments.

"A must-have for to train, teach or learn from video"

Pros
Video Surgeon's ability to slow, zoom and loop the video makes this an ideal product to use when teaching, training or trying to learn from video. I can see wide application across a variety of fields including sports, music, dancing, and more.
Cons
About the only thing I would like to see is the ability to download from any site... and I hear that is to be available very soon....
Summary
My bottom line is this is an indespensible tool for people that use video for training, instruction or lessons. The ability to zoom, slow down and loop video is extremely useful. It's ability to download files from Youtube and other video sharing websites means that I have almost an unlimited supply of videos from which I can create my own library of lessons.
