Publisher's description of ViaVideo (Windows 98/Me)
The ViaVideo, video communications appliance is an integrated, USB-based video system for improved communications from your desktop. It delivers business-quality voice, video, and data collaboration capabilities so that you can interact with customers and colleagues on the other side of the world, across town, or on another floor. Simply install the software, plug the ViaVideo appliance into your PC's USB port, and start enjoying voice, video, and data communications in minutes.
Version 5.1.1 has improvements to the user interface, based on customer feedback. Directory enhancements. Improved integration with Polycoms Global Directory Server (GDS). Systems configured to auto-start ViaVideo in the background now register with GDS on system startup. Previously, ViaVideo would wait for the main user interface to be launched before it registered. Enhanced security options. Administrators can now disable VideoMail and outgoing calls. Improved VPN performance.
