"This is a great story, told and drafted well"

    December 24, 2011   |   By Mitnaw

    Version: Not Found

    Pros

The atmosphere/s of the individual ages are stunnibgly emersive and true to the age itself!! By way of explaination, I mean when linking to another age the environment has the ability to re-emerse you, each age never leaves you with a sense of not being true, it functions and is an actual though it be virtual true environ, Excellent stuff.

    Cons

My only Con and its significant, is that the Dni story no longer is an online wonder, so in short my biggest con is that this story now stands alone

    Summary

Not to put a too finer point I am so impressed with thewhole UbiSoft project od=f MYST and all the other ages and experiences that have come out of thet and of coursse URU being the potential that out worked from those and can I add with the ability to continue to grow and expand. The craftwork that was shown in the ages of URU were only the begining of what the guys were going to do. Someone please somehoe enable UbiSoft to get URU Life, (or a group of equally gifted people), up and running againits

    "Simple."

    January 30, 2007   |   By Drakothebutcher

    Version: Not Found

    Cons

I found that Uru itself was much too simple for my tastes. The puzzles felt very weak compared to its earlier, Non-Urued cousins. And it paled in comparison to MystV.

The 3D, 3rd person interface is a nice idea, often I found that it just got in the way, so I was constantly using the first person camera anyways making it redundant.

I also found that they way over-flogged the idea of Uru: Live way to much

"not nearly as good as riven or myst"

    June 20, 2004

    Version: Not Found

    Summary

found it very poorly done compred to previous myst adventures. the browser for URU is very distacting and takes away from the continuity of the game .. I am very disapointed in it and the add on expansion pack which for dial up users can be in excess of 10 hrs to download . even if you have a fairly fast and newer machine you may have to up grade you graphics to even play it ..I have played all the myst series and all were good but this one leaves a bad tate in your mouth .the makers should be ashamed to put their name on this one
